Ali Engelhardt
MAD-CITY
Hi friends! ☺️ My name is Ali Engelhardt and I’m a member of the Mad-City Ski Team. I was first introduced to the ski community through collegiate 3-event at the University of Iowa and then started show skiing after graduation. Off the water, I enjoy running, hiking, biking, and playing volleyball. Staying active has always been an outlet for me when managing my mental health. I’m so excited to join the Same Boat community to continue the conversation around mental health and be a resource for anyone who needs it!

Brian "Brain" Mulhern
MAD-CITY
Hello! My name is Brian, but friends call me Brain 🧠 — and I am a Same Boat Ambassador! A few things about me: I’m always delighted to teach, but I’ll never pass up an opportunity to learn something new. When I’m not at a 3-event tournament or show skiing for Mad City, you can catch me unwinding on the shore, whipping up an exuberant meal for my friends. The lake is my sanctuary, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this movement!

Jack Misina
PLUM SKI-TERS
Hi there, my name is Jack Misina. I’ve been skiing for the Plum Ski-ters since 2011 and got involved in 3-event water skiing while in college at UW-Madison. One of my favorite parts of skiing is helping teach others new tricks and skills on the water. Outside of skiing, I enjoy cooking, science, playing piano, and spending time with family and friends. The water ski community has truly become a second family to me and I’m excited to be a part of Same Boat!

CHETEK HYDROFLIGHTS
My name is Jorja Bradley and I have been skiing with the Chetek Hydroflites for four years. I am currently a senior in high school where I am captain of my school’s dance team and a member of several other clubs. I love the outdoors so I spend a lot of time running, hiking or in the water in some way. I joined same boat to have an opportunity to be a person that can help people, the same way that others have helped me.

Brooklyn Sill
MAD-CITY
Hey! I’m Brooklyn Sill from the Mad city ski team! This will be my 4th summer with the team and am looking forward to progressing my swivel, jump, barefoot and doubles. I’m the oldest of 4 girls, going into my sophomore year, and dance on both the Verona Wildcat Varsity dance team as well as at my dance studio. I joined Same boat ambassadors to help everyone have a fun and the best experience possible through the chaos that can be the ski world.

Michael O'Connor
MAD-CITY
My name is Michael O’Connor and I’ve been a part of the Lake Mohawk Ski Hawk in New Jersey for 15 years before moving to Madison for my PhD. I wanted to join Same Boat to help other skiers who have found skiing to be challenging on their mental health and center the joy this sport can bring.
